A Concise Description of the Role and Its Objectives
A Heavy-Duty Driver is responsible for ensuring that all materials, products, and packages are transported securely and delivered on time.
Detailed Description of the Recruitment Procedure and Principal Duties
The loading, securing, and unloading of direct and indirect materials must be performed correctly and safely at warehouses, OMEs, and suppliers (when required)
Caring for, possessing, and exercising control over the vehicle and all assets and materials related to the transport.
Acquire the knowledge and abilities required to operate the vehicle’s safety features in accordance with all applicable safety protocols.
Employing the correct personal protective equipment
Verify that the vehicle is always roadworthy, and keep a record of and report any defects in accordance with K53 guidelines.
Using the predetermined checklist, conduct a daily pre-trip inspection of the vehicle and report any defects you find.
Compliance at all times with the logbook and key control requirements
Primitive vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, tire pressure, oil level top-off, tire replacement/wheel nut torque, etc.
Ensure that you adhere to the instructions in accordance with the requirements of the position.
Provide your supervisor with pertinent feedback on the work’s progress.
Toolbox talks, green area meetings, safety meetings, and morning meetings are mandatory and must be attended.
Managers and Senior Managers conduct inspections, with audit findings being implemented.
Daily activities carried out in accordance with the plan
Observe the government’s charter and legal frameworks.
Maintain adherence to the site’s operational requirements and protocols.
Ensure that every rule and regulation is adhered to.
Personal activity planning, including determining the most efficient route for multiple stops.
Participate in training courses and seminars based on the training matrix to enhance your competence and skills.
Determines one’s own training and development needs, which are then incorporated into a personal development plan and submitted for approval by the supervisor.
By meeting deadlines, you can assist the company in achieving its objectives and realizing its vision.
Help the natural work team with their daily operations.
Assist the Supervisor and Transport Manager in training newly hired labor and drivers.
Keeping productive relationships with clients, peers, and superiors.
Identify potentially dangerous situations, then take the necessary safety precautions.
Report unsafe conditions / situations

Report all defects

HEAVY DUTY DRIVERS WANTED Min Experience
- 5-8 years of pertinent driving experience
- Certification and Membership in Professional Organizations are Requirements.
- Permission to utilize Code EC with Pr DP
