In order to ensure that the Sewer Pump Stations continue to function properly, it is essential to have a position that is responsible for operating pumps, maintaining manual screens, maintaining housekeeping, and conducting inspections. the act of informing the Supervisor of any problems.

Certain Minimum Prerequisites

•Matric or Equivalent
•At Least Have 1 years Previous Sewer Pump experience
•Healthy and fit

Primary Obligations

  • Take control of the handover from the shift before yours.
  • Putting your signature on the Fuel Station Register.
  • Make sure to record all of the pump readings (using the Run Hour Meter).
  • Maintains a record of the sumps readouts
  • Make sure that the inlet valves and outlet valves are in the correct positions; then, open the valves that should be open and close the valves that should be closed.
  • Inspection of the Pump Station Every Day
  • The Screens will be cleaned whenever it is necessary to do so.
    Cleaning of the Pump Station is being done.
    Record and report any and all malfunctioning equipment. Keep an eye on the pumps that are operating.
