Description of the Showroom Assistant Job
The role of the Showroom Assistant is to provide a warm greeting to customers and visitors, as well as to assist customers with questions concerning products or with placing orders.
JOB OBJECTIVES
Assistance to the customer
When guests arrive, give them a warm welcome and find out what kind of assistance they require.
Provide the customer with the necessary relevant information, and answer any questions they may have regarding the product.
Provide assistance to customers making online purchases and/or using electronic payment methods.
When necessary, maintain communication with both production and the warehouse.
Showroom Assistant Qualifications
Matric or equivalent
Knowledge
Telephone and email etiquette
Knowledge of the Customer Care and Product System
Experience
Assistant in the showroom and/or receptionist
Skills
Interpersonal skills
Competence in communication and the English language
The ability to use computers
Competencies
The execution of establishing rapport and reliability while working together as a team
Additional Requirements
Should be able to present themselves well
And have a good command of the South African language
Directly answers to the Club Manager.
