1. Stock Controller

This is a FULL TIME contract opportunity for the selected candidate whole will be allocated in Kia Ballito, Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Job Objective:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing stock control support in order to process vehicle stock transactions accurately and on time by executing predefined work objectives in accordance with agreed-upon standard operating procedures.

Role Specific Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities:

In charge of the fleet and used stock controllers.
Invoicing and crediting the fleet
Liaison with Combine Freight to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
Setting up new Autoline/Drive location codes.
The Autoline/Drive system is being monitored to ensure that the vehicles are moving down the grid.
Organizing inter-dealer swaps as needed.
Damages – Follow-up to ensure that vehicles are repaired and sold.
New Weekly Stock Counts.
Ordering and managing demonstration units
Process of fleet management.
Autoline/Drive unit capture.

Experience and qualifications

Minimum Conditions:

National Diploma and/or an Advanced certificate equivalent
3+ years of experience as a Stock Controller in the automotive retail industry is required. Must have Stock Controller experience in a high volume dealership environment Autoline/Drive system experience is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Advanced Excel skills are required.
Excellent people management abilities Excellent product knowledge Knowledge and understanding of SCM Technical abilities

2. Technician

Magnis Bloemfontein is currently looking for a Diesel Technician. Someone with experience in the commercial vehicle industry would be ideal for this position. UD Trucks, Inc.

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The primary purpose of the job is to provide technical and diagnostic expertise within the service department and to advise colleagues on best practices for repairs and improvements based on customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To perform diagnostic work and mechanic support as directed by the Foreman.
  • To offer technical advice and assistance to mechanics.
  • To perform fault diagnosis in order to aid and expedite vehicle servicing.
  • To ensure that diagnostic equipment is used during vehicle inspections
  • To take steps to ensure that vehicle servicing stays within the targeted percentages of the manufacturer’s time. To ensure that standards of vehicle care and safety are maintained while performing functions.
  • To ensure that vehicles are returned to the customer in a neat and clean condition after service.
  • Ensure that the diagnosis leads to the most cost-effective and accurate solution to the fault or customer complaint.
  • recommending the purchase of capital equipment
  • Administrative tasks:
  • to complete forms and documentation as part of the service routine of the company. To draft and prepare any required reports
  • Maintain effective communication with employees, across departments, with customers, and with service providers.
  • Willingness to participate in marketing campaigns as needed to advance the business.
  • IMPORTANT – Standby and the responsibility that comes with it are required functions of this position, and no exceptions will be made.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING

  • Technician Qualification Completion
  • A minimum of three years’ experience working as a Technician in commercials is required.
