Main Purpose:

Responsible for assisting customers and meeting set targets in order to provide the highest possible level of customer service.

Key Performance Areas:

Cash Control

  • Perform a cash desk function.
  • Cash control and banking processes are followed daily, with no cash variances.
  • Manual transactions are accurately recorded.

Stock Control

  • Stock management processes are followed daily.
  • Customers’ orders are followed up.
  • Weekly stock counts are done accurately.
  • Storeroom department is in good condition.
  • The shoe pairing exercise is completed weekly.

Customer service

  • Offer excellent customer service.
  • Internal and external customer relationship building
  • Maintain positive customer relationships
  • Product knowledge

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of one year retail experience.
  • Complete Matric/Grade 12.

Additional requirements:

  • Retail administration disciplines.
  • Stock and cash management
  • Product knowledge 
  • Product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures related to the cash desk, stockroom, administration, and all other relevant policies.
