Description of the Job
Cash Book Clerk Job purpose:

The position of cash book clerk is accountable for reconciling the bank accounts on a daily basis in addition to the cashbooks that are related to those accounts.

The cash book clerk is also accountable for maintaining the banking master file and recording daily payments for release by the responsible delegated authorities.
These responsibilities fall under the purview of the responsible delegated authorities.

Cash Book Clerk Key Skills needed:

Capacity to perform well under adverse conditions

Cash Book Clerk Principal Components of Performance

Performing daily bank reconciliations for all domestic and international accounts, including those held at local banks
Daily preparation; recording of all cashbook-related data; and reconciliation of that data with its original source.
Providing assistance to retail establishments with any and all banking-related questions
Coordinating responses to questions with various financial institutions
Obtaining a record of all EFT payments made to local merchants and other creditors
Ensure that the Knowledge Base contains all of the pertinent information pertaining to the accounting department and that it is kept up to date.
Billing for the Wi-Group and Discovery

General

To complete all required training as it becomes available and to participate in relevant in-service training as it becomes available and as it becomes mandatory.
