POSITION OVERVIEW
Dis-Chem Pharmacies need a qualified Nail Technician to visit multiple salons in the southern region of Johannesburg.
You will be tasked with establishing your own clientele and promoting the diverse nail treatments available at Dis-Chem.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIAL:
- Grade 12 / Matriculation or Senior Certificate
- Nail Technician Certification (gel and acrylic)
- Minimum of 2 years’ technical expertise in a professional beauty or nail salon setting.
- Available and prepared to work retail hours.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Analysis of consumer commendations and grievances
- Implement monthly promos
- Guarantee the fulfillment of monthly treatment and product objectives.
- Participate in training to remain informed about new products and treatment methodologies.
- Ensure that new clients fill out customer cards.
- Prepare and submit precise monthly reports.
- Comply with Dis-Chem’s protocols for treatment and service payments.
- Regulate inventory levels in accordance with Dis-Chem protocols – document shortages, damaged, and expired product. Ensure efficient and precise marketing or promotional activities.
- Deliver customers an exceptional standard of nail care and nail painting methodologies.
SKILLS:
FUNDAMENTAL:
- Possess comprehensive understanding of nail technology, including proper product application procedures and contraindications for nail treatments.
- Proficient mastery of the English language
- Exhibit teamwork and maintain positive customer relations.
- Reliable and truthful
- Exhibit a strong focus on deadlines and objectives—execute daily treatment planning and administration while achieving monthly treatment goals.

SPECIFIC JOB CONDITIONS:
- Prepared and capable of working retail hours
- Physically capable of executing proper manicures and pedicures
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, or residence in close proximity to the store
