Description of the Job

The position of Cashier within the Trade Division at TWK Agri’s Middelburg, Mpumalanga location is currently open and accepting applications.

A List of Responsibilities and Obligations

Merchandise needs to be bagged, boxed, and wrapped before it can be prepared for shipment.
Perform computations and make records of transactions.
At the beginning of each shift, count the money that is in the cash drawers to ensure that the correct amounts have been deposited and that there is sufficient change.
Notes and coins are to be sorted, counted, and wrapped.
Calculators, cash registers, and optical scanners are the tools that are used to tabulate bills and establish or identify prices of goods.
Welcome and thank customers as they enter businesses.

Customers should be given receipts, refunds, credits, or any change that is due.
Maintain periodic balance sheets that detail the amounts and the total number of transactions.
Accept payments in the form of cash or cards.
Keep the checkout areas neat and organized at all times.
Prepare the shelves and label the prices of the products and the shelves.
Perform inventory counts.
