REQUIREMENTS: Senior Certificate/Grade 12 Experience ranging from 0 to 6 months Knowledge:

The Unemployment Insurance Act, the Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act, and the Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act

Customer service, departmental policies and procedures Communication abilities

Listening, Computer literacy, Customer Relations, Decision Making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and assess all UI Claims on the relevant systems in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Register all employers and verify employee declarations in accordance with the relevant regulations.
  • Complete the payment of approved claims within the time frames established
  • Respond to inquiries concerning all processed claims or any other claim processing-related matter
  • Carry out administrative responsibilities within the section.
