As a VIP Security Officer, you will be the protector of our property, ensuring the safety of our esteemed guests.
Imagine yourself patrolling with the stealth of a ninja and monitoring surveillance equipment with the accuracy of a hawk.
Loss and theft have no chance against your keen vision!
However, that is not all! Your superpowers also include the ability to detect the slightest indication of irregularities or suspicious behavior.
Reporting any indications of mischief or chaos.

You Bring:
Matric
Valid driver’s License (Advantageous)
PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) registration.
What Will You Do:
Always arrive 15 minutes early so that the Branch Manager or Senior Team Leader can open the branch in your presence.
Ensure you conduct a perimeter patrol prior to the opening of the branch.
Before the branch is opened, conduct a perimeter check to identify any suspicious activity.
Before the opening/closing of the branch, exercise extreme vigilance and constant vigilance, guarding the surroundings.
Once the branch is open, conduct a floor check to ensure everything is in order.
Ensure that all observation checks have been completed prior to the Branch Manager/Senior Team Leader continuing their daily checks.
Ensure that, during opening and closing, a VIP Officer is always positioned away from the entrance, observing coworkers and assessing the potential for harm.
Patrol the entrance and exterior of the branch, the back areas, and all parking lots.
Ensure that every two-way radio is fully charged for use in the early morning. Immediately report any equipment failures.
Charge the batteries overnight so they are ready to use at the start of your shift.
Ensure that all panic buttons and two-way radios are in working order and stored securely.
Carry your panic buttons, two-way radios, and earpieces to facilitate communication and accessibility in the event of an emergency.
If stationed in the search zone, you must use the scanner to inspect all guests and Team Members entering the branch.
Ensure that the branch door or gate is always closed at the search zone.
Ensure that gender boundaries are not crossed when scanning guests entering the branch.
Male guests must only be screened by male VIP Officers, while female guests must only be screened by female VIP Officers.
Ensure that female bags are stick-searched.
Male guests are not permitted to bring bags.
Control the number of vehicles entering and exiting the building as well as the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic on our property.
Ensure that the end-of-day closing procedure is followed, which includes minimizing entry and closing doors to reduce high risks.
Attend branch meetings when the Branch Manager notifies you.
Assist with inventory receipt, conduct alarm tests, and submit a daily report by 10:00 a.m. daily.
Provide assistance to guests.
As a VIP Officer, you are at the forefront of the company, and guests will interact with you first. Therefore, you must make a favorable impression on them.
Always be friendly, helpful, polite, and courteous to guests.
Respond proactively to guest complaints and ensure that guest feedback is communicated effectively and positively.
Always cultivate a customer-centric culture within the branch and promote the “service with a smile” ethos.
Always respect guests and maintain a positive attitude.
When guests leave the branch, encourage them to return by wishing them a good evening or night.
