Job Description
Client of Hire Resolve is actively looking for a Warehouse Assistant to add to their team in the Vaal Triangle, Gauteng.
In this capacity you will be in charge of managing and controlling all warehouse operations, guarantee effective procedures, and optimize warehouse capacity.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse access control
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels is what every warehouse does
- Items arriving for
- Stock keeping
- Supply ordering
- Stock take and limit variations. Prevent and minimize
- Document control
- Labeling stocks
- Verify that stock is sorted in a warehouse based on bin placements, packaged, stocked, and orderly
- Make sure the warehouse is always spotless
- Control and deal with stock loading and unloading
- Selecting items in line with orders
- Helping with stock variances during month end stock take
- Handle stock with great care to reduce risk and stop losses
- Count stocks as needed
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Excellent writer and communicator both orally and in writing
- Technologically informed
- Excel knowledge and MS office skills
- Client oriented
- Credible references and CV
- Possibility of working under pressure and in a challenging surroundings
- Good working ethics
- Excellent analytical-, numerical-, data-capturing, administrative-based capabilities
- Has to be able to work extra as needed.
- To complete whatever tasks asked of us by management.
- Help other departments with rational inquiries.
