Summary Of Job Purpose
- Ensure accurate stock supply and proper warehouse storage and handling.
- Ensure the cold chain is maintained throughout the distribution procedure.
Qualifications And Experience
- Grade 12 (National Matric Certification at NOF 4).
- Experience working in a warehouse environment will be advantageous.
- Middelburg-based applications will be given preference.
- Applicants will be subject to risk assessment checks.
- A clear verification record is needed.

- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Be able to count and collect data accurately and correctly.
- Capable and eager to listen, understand, and follow instructions.
- Capable of solving difficulties, working under pressure, and meeting production deadlines.
- Understand and follow Occupational Health and Safety regulations, quality standards, company procedures, and systems.
- Flexible, able, and willing to work overtime as needed and requested.
- Be physically capable of meeting the job’s intrinsic requirements, which include lifting up/moving/carrying boxes, reading batch numbers, and packing items for extended periods.
- Be able to effectively interact with colleagues and superiors.
- Must have a clean criminal record.
- Must be honest, dependable, trustworthy, and conscientious.
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Picking surgical and pharmaceutical stock based on choose lists.
- Pick stock based on product code, strength, batch number, generic name, pack size, and expiration date.
- Ensure adherence to the FEFO FIFO principles.
- Ensure that credits are minimized by selecting the correct stock as specified on the picking list.
- Check that the quantities are correct as per the picking list.
- Ensure that hospitals and clinics are separated by pallets.
- Ensure that the warehouse is always clean and that no stock is left between the aisles.
- Any difficulties encountered throughout the choosing process should be reported to the superior promptly.
- Any damage to goods or equipment should be reported to a superior promptly.
- When working in the warehouse, follow all GWP and occupational health and safety laws.
- Participate in the bi-annual stock-take.
