JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in search of a Human Resources Practitioner who is both highly skilled and experienced to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of expertise and knowledge regarding human resources policies, practices, and procedures. They will be accountable for managing all facets of the HR function, such as recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, and adherence to pertinent laws and regulations.

DUTIES:

  1. RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION:
  • Ensure that the recruitment and selection process is fair, consistent, and efficient by coordinating and participating in it.
  • Conduct interviews, evaluate the qualifications of candidates, and provide management with recommendations for suitable candidates.
  1. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
  • Foster positive employee relations by offering guidance and support to managers and employees regarding all HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Guarantee compliance and equity by interpreting and implementing company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  1. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:
  • Provide support in the development and maintenance of performance management programs, which encompass performance appraisal systems, goal-setting, and employee development plans.
  • Offer guidance and coaching to employees and managers regarding performance-related matters.
  • Monitor the progress of performance improvement plans and provide assistance in their implementation.

  • Ensure that all documentation is filed and maintained in a manner that is both accurate and efficient.
  1. LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE:

  • Continuously update one’s comprehension of industry trends and HR best practices.
  • Offer assistance and support in the interpretation and execution of human resources policies and procedures.
  1. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a comparable position as an HR Practitioner or HR Generalist.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation, HR principles, and practices.
  1. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and interpersonal communication.
  • Capacity to establish robust relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven capacity for decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Expertise in payroll and human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Proven organizational and analytical abilities.
