Administration Clerk Job Purpose

There are opportunities for seven (7) qualified individuals to provide administration support services within the Sub-directorate:
Fleet Risk Management.
These opportunities are available through the Department of Transport and Public Works of the Western Cape Government.
These posts are located in Maitland, North Carolina.

Administration Clerks Minimum Requirements

A valid driving license with a code B or higher, as well as the equivalent of a high school diploma (senior certificate or equivalent qualification).
Note that applicants with disabilities that prevent them from driving but who have access to transportation that is adequate may also submit their applications.

Administration Clerks Requirements :

Knowledge and skill in the following areas:
Office administration;
Agencies responsible for the operation of motor transport fleets, including the government.

Principal Components of Performance

Coordination of own activities within the section responsible for the administration of fleet losses, accidents, and claims;
Legal Interaction and Administration;
Administration of claims made against client institutions.
Management of fleet risk information, administration of computer systems, and provision of support services.

Administration Clerks Competencies

Knowledge of the following:
Policies, prescripts, and practices regarding financial matters at the national, provincial, and departmental levels, with a particular emphasis on the PFMA;
The Risk Module System; human resource management and development; the Fleetman System and the Recon System.

Competence in the following areas:

Communication (both written and verbal);
Proven computer literacy in Microsoft Office;
Planning and organizing;
Report writing;
Problem solving and analytical thinking;
Capability to work both independently and cooperatively;
Capability to work effectively under adverse conditions
