Minimum Requirements

• Matric /NCV4/NSC3/ (with Maths and Science at NQF 4 with 120 credits)

Related Minimum Experience:

• 2 years of experience in related fields as a plant operator apprentice or plant operator at a power station

Principal Obligations and Duties

1. Run the plant properly.
2. Conduct troubleshooting and fault finding procedures.
3. Pay attention to plant transients during both normal plant conditions and accident plant conditions.
4. Be prepared to respond to medical, fire, and rescue emergencies.
