Principal Obligations

Serve as the Anova Health Institute’s youth representative at a variety of different youth gatherings and platforms.
Act as a point of contact and guide for young people within and outside of the facility who are in need of medical services.
Encourage programs that protect young people from contracting HIV, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections, and unplanned pregnancies in health care facilities and throughout the community.
Create a demand for outreach services targeted toward Youth Friendly Services both inside and outside of the facility you work in.

Make certain that the awareness activities that are planned to be carried out for young people are carried out on time, to a high standard, and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Anova.
Ability to positively influence young people toward behavior modification among young people Speak in public about issues that are vital to youth, including youth who are vulnerable and youth who are orphaned
Support groups and facilitated group discussions with young people who are using ART or PrEP to encourage them to maintain their adherence to their treatment.

Encourage treatment adherence as well as HIV disclosure.
Help clients who have become disengaged from their care to become involved again.
Maintain records of actions and interventions that are both accurate and up to date.

Essential qualifications and experience

A minimum of Grade 12
A minimum of one year of experience working with teenagers or young people in various programs
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 to apply.
A comprehension of SRHR, HIV, and AIDS

An advantage would be training and experience in implementing programs such as I-ACT, Youth Care Clubs, Ground Breakers, KidzAlive, and MTVShuga groups, among others.
Outspoken, self-assured, and comfortable either speaking in public or facilitating support group or group discussions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in administrative roles in the office
Acquaintance with the process of completing activity reports

Due to the fact that Anova Health Institute is a provider of necessary medical services, they have instituted a vaccination policy that is obligatory.
