Job Description
SplashOut has amazing openings for 3X General Assistants based in Umhlanga. The successful incumbent will ensure that all rules and procedures are followed, as well as rigorous adherence to internal controls. Complete any ad hoc responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time. Maintaining quality control and time management at all times, as well as reporting and informing management of any difficulties that develop during production and installation. Provide help to the Signage team.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in signage.
- Relevant certificate/Diploma
- Geographical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Large-format material installation.
- To assist the installation department with external signs.
- Assist the internal sign fabrication department.
- Upkeep of warehouses and factories.
- Take stock and keep a note of all tools.
- ensuring that all external signage is completed and installed on time.
- Ensure the most efficient maintenance and planning solutions to reduce the company’s internal costs and downtime.
- Ensure that the Signage Co-Ordinator is aware of all Signage department operations.
- Active, accurate reporting to the Signage Co-Ordinator.
- The following tasks and responsibilities are required, but not limited to: aiding and filling in for other departmental jobs.
- To assist the installation department with internal and external signs using a variety of materials.
- Ad hoc functions/duties.
People:
- Performance must be tracked by yourself, and it is your responsibility to schedule performance review sessions with the Operations Manager.
Compliance, Risk, and Quality:
- 100% adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
- 100% adherence to health and safety laws.
- Ensure that all work, templates, and so on are logically saved on a monthly and yearly basis, so that each year’s financial records may stand on their own when inquiries, investigations, or audits are conducted.
- Produce high-quality, neat, logical, brief, easy-to-follow, and understandable formula-linked work/templates/workbooks/financial models that are supported by facts and do not include numbers in the formulae.
- Ensure that the above (final version) and other documents are saved/backed up in chronological order.
Growth and New Markets/Products:
- Help with projects as directed from time to time.
- Ensure that procedures and steps are implemented to achieve the company’s short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives.
