DATA CAPTURER REQUIREMENTS:
A South African Qualifications Authority-recognized undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 4). (SAQA). Qualifications/Certificates in Data Capture, MS Office Package, and Computer Literacy will be an added advantage.
DATA CAPTURER Competencies:
Clerical duties, practices, and the ability to capture data, operate a computer, and collect statistics are all required.
Understanding and knowledge of the legislative framework that governs the public sector.
Knowledge of working procedures in the context of the workplace.
Relationships between people.
Flexibility.
Teamwork.
Computer abilities.
Organizing and planning.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
DATA CAPTURER DUTIES:
Capture data from available records and convert it into the required formats.
Databases, tables, and spreadsheets, for example.
Check for missing data and errors discovered during data entry.
All data from the records should be reviewed and validated.
Submit data as needed.
Make regular data backups.
Registers and statistics should be updated.
Keep accurate records and files.
Ascertain that records and files are properly organized and secured.
Provide data to other components.
