x6000 Posts General Worker EPWP Programmes

Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment


Unemployed young people in South Africa are encouraged to submit applications to become part of the General Worker EPWP Programme through the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment (GDARDE) (x6000 Posts).
The deadline for submission of applications moved to the 27th of February in 2023.
If you have already handed in your application, there is no need to fill out the form again.

REQUIREMENTS:

No experience.
The applicant must be a citizen of South Africa, and they must be free of any criminal convictions from the past.
The applicant needs to demonstrate that they are physically capable as well as agile.
In order to complete the application process, the applicant’s own residential corridor must be used.

DUTIES:

To ensure that communities all over the world are successful in establishing and maintaining food gardens, provide assistance.
It would be helpful if you could lend a hand to the people who are taking part in the project in the construction of shade net structures, fencing, and gates, in addition to the installation of irrigation systems.

Participate in the Bontle Ke Botho (BKB) clean-up campaigns that are currently taking place in a number of different municipalities.
Provide assistance to educational institutions that are interested in establishing environmental programs. You are expected to fulfill any and all additional general work and administrative responsibilities that may be placed on your plate at any given point in time.
THE TIME PERIOD IS ONE YEAR

General Workers per corridor:

  • (600 Posts) West Rand ref: 2023/01,
  • (1600 Posts) Ekurhuleni ref: 2023/02
  • (1200 Posts) Tshwane ref:2023/03,
  • (600 posts) Sedibeng ref:2023/04,
  • (2000 posts) City of Joburg Municipalities ref: 2023/05

Stipend: R130 per day

Notes:

Individuals who are currently unemployed, women, people with disabilities, and veterans of the armed forces are encouraged to apply.

Along with a detailed curriculum vitae and a Certified Copy of Identity Document, the application needs to contain a NEW Z83 form that has been filled out, signed, and submitted.
This form can be obtained from any public service department.
Applications that were submitted using an outdated Z83 form will not be taken into consideration.
Should you fail to do so, your application will be rejected and you will not be considered further.
